Busy, Busy Spring!

Hey Guys! It's Katherine again. A lot has happened since my last post. I went on Spring Break with the softball team here at NU and we had gorgeous weather for our 12 games in Orlando, Florida. Our first GLIAC Conference game is tomorrow at Grand Valley. We play at Wayne State on Saturday and we are home against Saginaw Valley on Sunday. So, this is a very big week for us and we are pumped.
Softball keeps me pretty busy, but obviously I have to go to class too! I have some good ones this term. I am in a Creativity class with Professor Hughes. It is a challenging class, where we are encouraged to think with the right side of our brains, which is so contrary to how most of us reason. Professor Hughes wants us to develop new ways of solving problems. We are training to look at the problems as opportunities for improvements and discern through creative thinking, what the best way to solve them is. I believe that it will be a very insightful and helpful class.
Hopefully when I write next, I can share about our wins on the softball field!
