So summer thus far has been nothing less than interesting. The Sunday before finals I was informed that my uncle has passed away which was a huge thing for me that I'm finally starting to accept. Because of the loss my parents flew in to town for the week (they live in Vegas, no I'm not from there, long story), which was nice considering the following Sunday I was in a car accident a block away from my house that destroyed my car. A van went through a stop sign to early and I was on a one way, wasn't pretty. I walked away with only a swollen wrist right by the tattoo that I have for my uncle, so I took it as a sign that he was watching over.
But not all bad things have happened so far, although it kind of sounds that way. I started working at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club's Harborside Grill again for my 3rd summer and let's just say it's been...well interesting. The newbies are fun and I think they'll make the summer fun. I also have quite a few bands to add to my list of bands I've seen live in '09, but I'll wait until the end of summer to post a new list =) But I will mention seeing The Years Gone By, from Freehold, NJ twice this past week. I've known the guys for about a year and half now and I swear it's like we've been best friend forever. It's the best thing ever when I get to hang out with those guys. If you never heard of them you should check them out. www.myspace.com/theyearsgonebynj
Well that's all for now. Talk to you kiddies later.
More love, less hate<3
