So my friend decided that it would be fun to participate in the speed dating that was put together by Minority Business Association. I didn't want to go considering I am dating someone myself and I thought it was defeat the purpose of the whole thing. She laughed at me and told me the whole thing was a way for members of Northwood University to get to know one another.
Coming in a little late I ended up just talking to one of the guys. He kept me laughing and joking the entire 5 minutes that we were talking. At the end of each round the man in charge would ask different people to share about what they learned about the other person. All in all it was a very interesting event. Considering I didn't even want to go to it I quite enjoyed myself.
