Good Evening Everyone!!
Another day passes by at the wood!! Snowy, cold but good fun....weathers is certainly different to the wet and rainy stuff at home in England!! Its supposed to warm up soon and the snow is meant to melt away, so that sounds kind of exciting!
Had a great day today. Feeling good after our first soccer practice last night. Was great to see the guys and i had a well needed stretch and excersise! Classes are going good for me. Spanish test tomorrow which i am feeling confident about. I think it was a great choice to learn a language. Im enjoying it and it is definitly appealing to employers in the future. Im better at it than i thought i would be so we ll see how it goes. In my English class this evening we had a session in the library with one of the reference staff. We have a project due on monday analyzing culture in Mexico and she gave us some really helpful places to go and look for information about Mexico. We are concentrating on values, attitudes, and beliefs as well as the tangible side of culture like the greetings, speaking, experessions etc. I have quite a bit to do for monday so i am aiming to get some of it done tomorrow and then finishing it on friday when i dont have class so i will probably hide away in the library somewhere enbedded in some books :)
Tomorrow night is the Womens and Mens basketball games. As a soccer team we are all going to support them and is a great way to socialize with the team and the rest of the students here at NU. Both mens and womens teams are doing great so hopefully we will have a big win tomorrow as well.
