Hi everyone!
Just thought I should bid you all a good day today. Now as you may know, today is day two of my challenge. To be honest, I really didn’t have much planned out besides going to class and studying for my mid-term exams and also going to meetings. That may sound like a long day but it wasn’t. I made it through.
I did wake up to a buzzing alarm clock, which I did hit the snooze button twice. It’s going to take some time to get rid of that habit. I’ve got a head start on some reading assignments which is good because the due date is next week. I’ve also found some new vocabulary words. I’ll start a new blog down the road about that.
As I reflect on how my typical day of my college life went, it’s easy to see how time passes by so quickly. I was talking with one of my peers today, which I haven’t seen her since we got back from Christmas break. It was a coincidence running into her too. I usually text at least 10 different people in my phone “Good Morning” just to get their day going, and she happened to be one of them. We just happened to be in the same at the same time and she reminded me about the text I sent her. She was also very appreciative too. I started this ritually, so to speak, about 4 or 5 months ago and now I have several people, faithfully texting me back “Good Morning” even if I don’t text them. (God is so good)
My friend and I were discussing how much stuff we had to do before the end of the day. For the most part both of our day was similar because we were being productive in different activities that kept us grounded.
Well I just thought I’d let you know of today’s challenge. Staying focused and watching your time. No one has more than 24 hours in a day and it is very important to accomplish whatever it is you desire, because tomorrow isn’t always promised to us.
God bless and have a wonderful day!
Ericka B.
