Hey good morning everybody!
Wow how time flies by. Just a few weeks ago I can remember the snow coming down and the weather being chilly. I was actually on my way home for Spring Break. I didn’t mind the snow but I wanted the warm weather to come, or at least meet me in Ohio. I did have a great Spring Break at home. I was able to spend time with the family. It was the longest two weeks ever because I didn’t work over the break…Lol. Most of my time was spent at home. I had a fabulous time hanging out with my mom, making jokes with my sisters, babysitting my niece and nephews, and little cousin, but most of all, the home cooked meals.
My mom was so happy to have all her children home at the same time that she decided to cook a big dinner for all of us. (I wish I had invited you!) We had food for days…lol. We had dinner Sunday night, and it seemed like my mom prepared all weekend for this dinner. She was driving me crazy. “Go to the store and get this, go get that, I forgot to tell you to get something”. It was so awesome to finally see the outcome of her raft. At dinner we shared stories about our lives, the opportunities that we’ve come across, our friends, and school. It has been awhile since we had a family dinner like that. Everybody is so busy working or going to school now of days, we rarely have time to enjoy moments like that.
How do you and your family communicate? What do you miss most about them when they’re not around? My challenge for you is to call and tell someone in your family that you may not have spoken with in a while, that you love them and that you’re coming over for dinner;)
Have a blessed day and remember love is the answer to everything.
