Final Exams

Hello everyone:

Hope all is well with you today. It is the last week of the term; students are pretty busy around campus. Finals are right around the corner and Spring break will be here before we now it.
Finals week is usually the time where students are stressed out, but for most of us, we’ve been doing it for a while so we’re used to it. The exams are usually not as hard as students make it seem. The professor has given us more than enough information than we need to ace the exam. So why do students get stressed out? One reason is because of the clarity of material. They don’t understand or haven’t mastered the main concepts of the material and then they feel the need to go over the stuff they already know instead of focusing on the material they have not mastered yet. It’s best to work with a partner or in a study group so that there is a better understanding of the material. “Two heads is always better the one”. I usually get more accomplished when I work in small groups because each person usually brings good ideas that enhance the concepts.

I wish everyone good luck on their exams! Have a wonderful day

Ericka B.
