Spending Time

Greetings:

This past weekend was amazing for me. I went shopping with a real good friend of mine. I had a ball shopping with him. He’s not like most guys who already know what they want before they go into the store, and there in and out within 5 minutes. He was very patient with me as I tried on different items. Usually my best friend and I go shopping. We go to every store in the mall to see if we can find any good deals. We’re usually in there for about 2-3 hours, trying on clothes and networking with sales clerks and other customers.
I think he was being nice because it was the weekend of Valentine’s Day and he wanted me to pick out something I liked so he could buy it and surprise me with it. He did end up finding a nice hat for himself while we were out. I didn’t find anything that I really liked and had to have. We were in the mall for while it seemed like because time went by fast. We spent the rest of the weekend hanging out, playing the video game, card games, charades, and watching movies. Even though it wasn’t my typical Valentine’s Day, I’m really glad I could spend it with a good friend who only wanted some quality time. He made that seem more important than any material gifts. Although he did give me a card and baked some cupcakes, which was pretty cool.
